Have you heard of Maho Beach in St. Maarten? Even if you haven’t, you’ve definitely seen it in pictures! Maho beach is a must-see for any aviation enthusiast, as you can watch large and small aircraft land just yards above you, and it’s been at the top of my bucket list forever!
I was thrilled when I saw a post from fellow blogger, Rene’s Points, detailing an organized meet up in January. Not only is it easy to convince me to escape somewhere warm in the heart of NYC winter, but there’s nothing more that I look forward to than mingling with others who “get” the obsession with this hobby.

While the actual weekend dates are January 7 & 8, you’re welcome to arrive a day earlier and stay a day later to take in as much of the warm weather as possible. (that’s what I’m doing)
