Starting today, you can now earn 3 JetBlue TrueBlue points per dollar spent at Amazon while flying or on the ground.
Customers can take advantage of the offer in the air or anywhere on the ground:
- Earn Points While Flying: TrueBlue members have an opportunity to earn points for shopping while they fly. Customers who log into Fly-Fi using their TrueBlue membership, or sign up for a TrueBlue account and then log-into Fly-Fi, will earn points while they shop and fly. The benefit begins rolling out on aircraft in December and will be installed on all aircraft by January 2017.
- Earn Points on the Ground: TrueBlue members who want to earn points for any of their Amazon purchases – even when not flying – can sign in to their TrueBlue account at trueblue.jetblue.com from anywhere and click on the Amazon link or go directly to trueblue.jetblue.com/web/trueblue/amazon.
To stretch this deal a little further, check your AmEx offers for a chance to earn 3x Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on Amazon.com purchases.  I had this offer on my Amex EveryDay® Credit Card from American Express, so if I make purchases at Amazon.com through TrueBlue, I’ll be sure to pay with my Amex EveryDay® Credit Card from American Express to get a total of 6x back on my purchases.
Bottom Line
I think the JetBlue/Amazon partnership is insanely lucrative; and there are currently no airline or hotel programs offering points or miles for purchases at Amazon.com. Since TrueBlue points are worth a minimum of 1.4 cents each, it’s like earning 4.2% back to use towards JetBlue flights! If you can stack this deal with the AmEx offer for purchases made before December 31, you can earn even more points back on your purchases too!

Does the relationship between Amazon and Jet Blue have an expiration date?

You can currently get 1 United mile per dollar by buying a gift card from Mileage Plus X. I assume that should stack just fine with this offer, as well as any credit card bonuses from buying the gift card in the first place.
