JetBlue Brings Milk Bar to Mint Class

March 23, 2017 by Angelina Aucello 4 Comments

I’m a huge fan of the JetBlue Mint experience from start to finish, and it’s my favorite domestic first class flatbed product, period. For those unfamiliar with JetBlue’s Mint Class, it caters to the modern traveler with unique touches: Hayward and Hopper amenity kit, tapas-style catering by New York City restaurant Saxon + Parole, seats with a massage feature, a departure gift, etc.

Yesterday was an exciting day for JetBlue, with the Mintroduction of a new dessert partner, NYC’s iconic Milk Bar. Starting in April, all JetBlue Mint passengers will get to enjoy a pre-arrival Milk Bar cookie. On Mint redeye flights, travelers will go home with Milk Bar’s HardBody green juice and a signature Bagel Round, which will be served in a to-go bag.

During the unveiling yesterday at the Milk Bar Classroom in Brooklyn, NY. Some JetBlue team members and guests got to take part in a fun cake truffle making cooking class. I love the Milk Bar birthday cake truffles, and was such an incredible experience to make some of my all-time favorite treats and have one-on-one time with Milk Bar founder, Christina Tosi.

Here are the Milk Bar treats you can expect to see soon on your next Mint Flight (from the press release):

Milk Bar Cookies Served in Mint:
Confetti Cookie:
Just like the Milk Bar b’day truffles and birthday layer cake, this sugar cookie is full of birthday sprinkles, birthday cake crumbs and that familiar old fashioned vanilla flavor.

Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow:
A play on the classic chocolate chip cookie with crunchy cornflakes, gooey marshmallows and mini chocolate chips.

Compost Cookie®:
Packed with pretzels, potato chips, coffee, oats, graham cracker, butterscotch and chocolate chips. This cookie strikes the perfect balance between salty and sweet.

Milk Bar Pre-Arrival Service (Redeye Flights Only):
Life Green Juice:
All natural juice packed with cucumber, celery, kale, spinach, lemon, and a touch of sweetness from apples.

Everything Bagel Round:
Bagel dough filled with smoky bacon scallion cream cheese, topped with everything bagel spice.

With 11 retail locations in New York, Las Vegas, DC, and Toronto, and nationwide shopping from www.milkbarstore.com, Milk Bar is on a mission to make life a little sweeter.

Overall I am super excited about this new partnership, and I think Milk Bar aligns nicely with JetBlue’s vibe. I look forward to some Milk Bar cookies on a future flight!

That looks like a good experience. I’ve never tried Milk Bar cookies but they look good. Have you had the smoothie they are offering on the redeye flights?
