I just received an email promoting a great Wyndham Rewards offer – 10,000 points after staying just 1 night at any Wyndham property. Since a free night at all Wyndham properties is now a flat 15K (even top-tier resorts), this promo might be worth “mattress-running” for at a cheap property for some people if 10,000 points will bring your balance up enough to make a great redemption.
Wyndham recently changed their program for the 2 years ago by introducing free nights with a flat 15,000 point redemption rate along with other positive loyalty program changes.
For instance, when you redeem points for a stay in one of the program’s top 25 destinations, you’ll automatically receive an additional enhancement (valued between $5 and $150, depending on your status level) to your award night for no additional points, helping you take advantage of exciting local experiences near your destination, from indoor skydiving in Orlando to an authentic cooking class in Shanghai.
Overall I think this is a pretty generous offer. It’s definitely worth registering for, especially if you have Wyndham stay in your future.
Alas, not targeted! And I’d totally have done a mattress run, too. Must be because I spent 5 nights in a Wyndham in May and got status that way.
