JetBlue is a long-time favorite airline in my household; not only do they have an amazing product (and my favorite domestic first class, Mint), the corporate culture is on point. I just stumbled upon a pretty amazing opportunity that the airline is extending to anyone who may be interesting in paying it forward.
In collaboration with the airline’s ‘JetBlue For Good Month’, JetBlue’s #CheckInForGood contest is giving out complimentary trips to those who may want to volunteer at 3 destinations that can use a few sets of extra hands.
According to the official rules, there are currently 3 trips scheduled that are departing from JFK:
- Jamaica: November 27-29
- Houston: November 27-29
- Bahamas: December 6-8
Bottom Line
This year, many airlines are trying to restore faith in the airline industry’s damaged reputation from PR disasters by participating in relief flights and humanitarian efforts. JetBlue’s #CheckInForGood movement is just one of dozens across the board. I recently participated in an incredible relief flight with Norwegian, delivering aid for Yemeni refugees in Djibouti and I love seeing the continuous push to encourage doing good.

Hi Jan, thanks for thinking of me. I do not have a link, but definitely jump on that offer as it’s the highest I’ve seen! :)
