A lucrative promotion is back again! Between November 15 and December 14, Chase is offering certain cardholders the opportunity to earn 9 bonus Ultimate Rewards with a $325 Walmart purchase. With this promotion, you can earn 3,250 valuable Ultimate Rewards points (worth over $60 in my box), per eligible card, (gift cards count too) on your holiday shopping at Walmart.
The 10x is in addition to the miles or cash back you can earn via a shopping portal, check CashBackMonitor.com to see which portals pay out the highest.
In order to be eligible for the offer, you must first be enrolled in Chase Pay.
Eligible cards seem to be: Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Unlimited.
Bottom Line
This is a no-brainer if your card is eligible. When this promotion was first launched in August, I loaded up on Uber and other gift cards to fully maximize the promo.
Great Deal Angelina!
The one caveat is Chase Pay doesn’t accept business credit cards.
That is true and it’s certainly a bummer… but if you have many ultimate rewards earning personal cards, it’s pretty lucrative :)
Does this only work for online transactions or can it be used in store? Does Walmart accept Chase Pay in store?
I️ believe it only works online but you can always buy a Walmart gift card online with chase pay and use that to buy things in store
Are you sure it works for Chase Sapphire Preferred? Planning on going to Best Buy to try it out. Thanks!
It works with CSP at Walmart.com :)
