Quickies: 5000 Bonus Miles On Spirit & Priority Club Bonus-Points Rate

February 24, 2012 by Angelina Aucello 4 Comments

5000 Free Spirit Bonus Miles With Spirit Airlines: I’ve yet to fly Spirit before, but being the cheap-o bargainsita I am, I couldn’t resist spending less than $100 for a round trip flight between LGA to ORD for my upcoming Chicago trip next week. Based on some reader comments on the airline as a whole, I’m expecting the worst, but going in with an open mind, of course; thank goodness it’s a short flight nevertheless. Anyway, I just came across this today, and I’m sure it’s old news to most, but it certainly applied to my previously-booked reservation. It doesn’t hurt to pass it along to those who have reservations already, right?

“Book qualifying travel to anywhere Spirit flies by February 24, 2012, and complete travel by June 20, 2012, to receive up to 5,000* FREE SPIRIT bonus miles (enough for a roundtrip award ticket**) for each trip flown.” Full T&C here.

Priority Club Bonus Points Rates: Also as a reminder, there are still 5 days left to book a bonus-points room at select participating ICH properties in USA, Canada, Mexico, South America, Central America, and The Caribbean. You can earn up to an additional 5,000 bonus points per stay.

I’m not sure 1,000,000 bonus miles could get me to fly Spirit.

It’s not that bad. As long as you’re going directly from point A to point B and don’t have to check in luggage, you’ll be fine. I’ve done it a few times DCA-FLL and have had no problems at all.
