Quickies: 30% off Hertz on Demand NYC, Free Hyatt Platinum Status, & Amex Panera Bread Deal

April 3, 2012 by Angelina Aucello 4 Comments

30% off Hertz on Demand in NYC: Dad recently blogged about our experience using Hertz on Demand in NYC while getting to LGA. In celebration of Earth Day, Hertz is offering 30% off the hourly rate when you drive the Ford Fiesta or any Electric Vehicle this month in New York City. This offer is only available for pickups starting April 2 through April 30. Please mention this promotion upon booking if your rental qualifies.

Free Hyatt Platinum Status: Lucky @ One Mile at a Time notes that you can receive a 90 day trial of Platinum Status with Hyatt if you are a Visa Signature cardholder. The Chase Sapphire Preferred, United Explorer Visa, Alaska Airlines Visa, and many more are considered a Visa Signature card. I personally have tried to register and received an error message, but I will continue to try because I do have some upcoming stays with Hyatt planned in the next few months, and would love to take advantage of some of the Platinum Status benefits with Hyatt.

Spend $10 at Panera Bread with synced American Express Card, get a $10 statement credit: I love this offer! Personally I do a lot of blogging from my local Panera, so this is a great way to get a free lunch. Via Facebook, American Express cardholders can get a $10 statement credit when you spend $10 or more at Panera Bread from now through April 30 (Be sure to Sync your card with the offer on Facebook’s page; you’ll receive the credit usually within two to three business days after a qualifying purchase.) It’s valid at Panera Bread, Saint Louis Bread Co., and Paradise Bakery & Cafe locations; it’s not valid at Panera Cares Cafes.

    Hi Angelina,

I’ve tried to register for the Hyatt Platinum status as well. I seem to get an error as well.

I’m not seeing the Panera special. Is it gone already?

@Jay: I see it on Kevin & my Facebook Amex Link Like Love. It was on the front page for us & you have to hit “load to card”

Finally! I had been checking and the offer wasn’t available to me. I checked tonight and it was there. Thank you for the info as this is a great free lunch!
