Tax Day 2012 Freebies

Sadly tax week is here to stay whether we like it or not. However, many companies and brands are trying to make light of it by offering us an array of freebies to ease the stress. Here are some noteworthy offers that might interest you:

• Free Tax Filing for Hotel Guests: From April 8 to 15, The Andaz Wall Street hotel will allow guests to file taxes free of charge with their in-house accountant. Certified public accountant Marc Albaum will stay at the hotel and file taxes for guests during a one-hour appointment free of charge in the hotel’s Buttonwood Suite (a 1,465 square feet of loft, featuring 9-foot high windows and gorgeous views of the East River). Interested guests must set up an appointment 72 hours prior by sending an e-mail to accountant@andaz.com.
• Cinnabon: As part of its “Tax Day Bites†promotion, Cinnabon will offer two free Classic Cinnabon Bites on April 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The offer will be valid at participating locations. Not valid at airports or travel plazas, unfortunately.
• Arby’s: has a coupon for a free order of value-size curly fries on 4/17/12 only. Arby’s is also having a sweepstakes on its Facebook page to win $5,000 in tax relief.
• Office Depot: Office Depot is allowing customers make 25 single-sided black-and-white copies, and up to 5 pounds of shredding for free from now until April 16.
• Chili’s: is offering a coupon for a free appetizer or dessert with the purchase of an adult entree between April 16-18. The coupon can be printed displayed to your server on your smartphone to qualify.
• HydroMassage will be offering free massages across the country from April 16th-20th to help help eliminate Tax Day stress. Here’s a list of participating locations.
• AMC Theaters: Get a Free Small Popcorn at AMC Theatres between Friday 4/13/12 and Sunday 4/15/12.
• MaggieMoos:  Participating MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream stores will be giving away a free Scoop of their new yogurt on 4/17 between 4-7pm.
• Chevy’s will have a certificate on its Facebook page between April 9 through 13 for a free order of chicken taquitos that can be redeemed April 13.
• Panda Express will be giving a free single serving of its new Shanghai Angus Steak at participating locations on April 17. You’ll need to download a coupon by “liking” Panda Express on Facebook starting April 11.
