Upcoming Events I’ll Be Attending & Contest Reminder

April seems to be quite packed this year with some exciting points and miles events. Luckily they’re here in NJ, and I’ll be able to attend them all without hassle or conflict. Here are some upcoming events I’ll be attending: Will you be at any or all of these too? If so, I’d love to meet some of you!

• The Freddie Awards: April 26. I’m super excited to attend this event & was absolutely shocked/honored that I received an invitation alone. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Freddies, it’s like the Oscars of the travel loyalty industry where millions of votes have been cast around the world by us, the travelers, to recognize our favorite hotel, airline, and credit card travel promotions. This year’s ceremony is being held at at the Renaissance Newark Airport. Though it is invite only, The Points Guy actually has a great contest going on where he is giving away 4 tickets to the award ceremony.
  
• Frequent Traveler University: April 27 – 29. I lucked out with this one;Frequent Traveler University is being held right in the same town I live in at the Sheraton in East Rutherford, NJ Registration is $99 and includes two full days of seminars, a Milepoint-sponsored cocktail hour on Friday, and 2 lunches on Saturday and Sunday. I’m really excited about this weekend! Mommy Points is actually also having a contest to win 1 of 20 tickets to this fun-filled weekend as well.
• Randy Peterson’s Travel Executive Summit: April 27. I haven’t officially secured my spot yet, but I do plan on attending the Travel Executive Summit, also held at the Renaissance Newark Airport hotel. Randy Peterson is the guru of all things points and miles, and has been a person that I’ve looked up to and admired since this blog’s inception and beyond. He is truly an expert, and I’m very excited to be able be an attendee of this event. Take a look at the full schedule here, and do remember that all proceeds go to charity.
