The big day has finally arrived. I can tell because my Facebook wall is flooded with all kinds of enthusiastic [and not so enthusiastic] political talk, which I personally refuse to participate in. On the plus side, at least I know I’ll be productive tomorrow since I’ll be avoiding my Facebook newsfeed at all costs. :)
Anyway, on a serious note… while I am sure many of you guys have arranged for transportation to vote, there are two great promotions to make note of during Election Day:
- Zipcar is offering a 50% discount nationwide on rates with a promotion called Zip to the Polls. The discount is only available on Election Day from 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. (local time).
- Uber (related post explaining Uber) will be offering users a free ride to or from a national polling place, up to $20.12. Any amount above $20.12 will be charged, and the offer is only available during the city’s voting hours.
Oh… and as far as my political views, I’ll just leave you with this:
