It’s been a while since we’ve had a contest here on the blog, so I’m delighted to announce that Just Another Points Traveler and the Club Carlson Premier Rewards Visa Signature card have teamed up offer a pretty neat “Golden Giveaway” , which will give two (2) lucky readers the chance to each score a $500 prepaid Visa -and- Club Carlson Gold Status valid until February of 2014. The Club Carlson Premier Rewards Visa Signature card has quickly become my family’s favorite co-branded hotel card since it was first announced in late 2012. As a points-obsessed family, Dad and I have used the card’s “Bonus Award Nights” benefit during our spring trip to Australia, and I have also used it while visiting Tel Aviv back in February. Knowing that bonus free award nights are possible just by being a card holder and redeeming Goldpoints normally definitely helps us stretch our points for memorable (and longer) vacations!

My wife and I love to visit the Radisson Blu hotel in Chicago. While there are so many wonderful destinations overseas, our schedules usually only allow for brief vacations and long weekends. One of our favorite destinations is Chicago and the Blu hotel is wonderfully modern with a great staff and you can’t beat the location! We always use our Club Carlson Premier Rewards Visa Signature Card – but especially when staying the Radisson Blu. The number one benefit to us is the ten points per dollar earned, which is extremely generous. The gold upgrade is also great! Thank you to Club Carlson!

I would use the card at Radisson Blu in Aruba because i’m dying to visit this island!

The Cook Islands would be my destination and I am sure I would not have any problems spending the card money and more!
I would pick The Radisson Plaza Resort Maldives Naagoshi so I could stay on a remote island in the Indian Ocean!
Boy, what a hard choice — there are Radisson Blu hotels in so many exciting cities — but I think I’d take the prize as a great excuse to go back to Iceland and choose the Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel in Reykjavik.

The Radisson Blu Aqua in Chicago. Excellent location near the lake, and the building itself is quite unique. I was in Chicago 2 weekends ago and kept looking longingly at the Radisson Blu.
