For the 3rd year in a row, I am super excited to be participating in the annual FlyerTalk Secret Santa. Dedicated FT member wharvey has been organizing this FlyerTalk tradition for over a decade, and it’s honestly something I look forward to participating in every year.
How the FlyerTalk “Secret Santa†works is that you are paired up with another random FlyerTalk member, unless you specifically request someone, and they’re responsible for giving you your holiday present worth a minimum of $50.00. In order to receive your gift, you yourself must be a “Secret Santa†as well. You can be paired up a total of 5 times (meaning, you will receive and purchase a total of 5 gifts, respectively).
As a kid, I’ve always enjoyed Secret Santa arrangements because I loved the thought and challenge of picking out a great gift for someone. The good thing about the FlyerTalk Secret Santa is that since we’re dealing with a group of seasoned-travelers, there are high chances of getting a gift in return that you actually could use and will enjoy. Plus, when you register, you’ll fill out a short questionnaire, sharing a little bit about yourself and leaving clues as to what you might like in order to help your Santa out.

I think it’s going to be an awesome and exciting experience yet again. In the past, I loved receiving little surprises in the mail from like-minded people around the globe.

This is open to everyone worldwide. FYI, the gift is $50 + the shipping. No cheaping out. I’ve participated since the beginning in 2001. Lots of fun. Most participants knock themselves out trying to get the right gift. Santa wharvey sends you information to get started, based on a form that you’ll complete.
