I am not really one to post about fashion and beauty deals, but I couldn’t resist (plus, it kind of goes in line with my last post).
Earlier this year, fellow blogger-friend, Kendra, introduced me to Twice, a site where you can get second-hand clothing (which in my experience, items have been new without tags/perfect condition – it’s a good thing they’re picky with their selections) for prices so cheap that I don’t even know how they could justify it.
I snagged my favorite pair of J Brand jeans in my first purchase for $8 and change.
One thing about me is that for years, I have considered myself a self-proclaimed “expert” in recycling clothing. 90% of my items (unless they are gifts) have been “preowned” or on clearance one way or another, so when I get tired of wearing the item, I often resell it for a higher price than what I’ve paid on sites like PoshMark and eBay. A nice closet that “makes money” has been my little secret investment for years.
Anyway, last night I was in the mood for some shopping. Out of the blue, I jumped onto Twice and saw that if I watched a 90-second video and took a 4-question quiz, I’d be given a unique promo code for 50% off of my entire order.
These codes are golden because there’s generally no minimum or maximum purchase limit (only caveat is you have to redeem the code within 12 hours of it being generated). What that means is that everything in your cart is 50% off. Shipping is free on orders $49 or more.
Granted I went a little nuts at first, I ended up narrowing my selections down to 10 items before checking out. My total price was $143.75 for everything. That’s like $14 and change per item!
I got so many nice things including a lululemon yoga top for less than $13 (when they retail for $60 ish in store), some Rag&Bone jeans, a colorful BCBG top, and more. What’s even better is that if these items don’t fit me for whatever reason, I know I can resell them for a higher price than what I paid (you can also return them)!
Here’s the best way to maximize this deal:
- Sign up with a friend’s link, so you get $10 in credits to shop (here’s mine, I’ll also get $10. Feel free to post your link in the comments if you want to as well).
- Click this link (you might need to use an incognito browser) to watch this 90-second video and answer the 4 questions. At end the end, you’ll be given a 50% off code that you must use within 12 hours.
- Shop away! Post what you end up getting…
Anyone else use Twice? Oh and if you’re wondering, I decided against selling my items to Twice for two reasons. 1. the payout per item is really low, and 2. they seem to be a PITA with the way they decide which items to accept. Kendra wrote about her experience here. I’ll stick to just buying… :)

Nice scores! I also really like how Twice has recently added handbags to their lineup. Another really good source for consignment deals online is Tradesy…but only check them out if you have time to spare, because it’s easy to go down a rabbit hole looking at all their great stuff.
