November 16, 2016 by Angelina Aucello 8 Comments

Such an awesome treat to wake up to today:

This holiday season, American Express® Card Members can enjoy 2 free Uber rides (up to $65 each) originating from select airports.

Just enter the code AMEXAIRPORT in your Uber app prior to requesting a ride, select an American Express Card as payment for the ride, and complete your trips before 12/31/16.

✈ Participating airports

  • LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
  • John F. Kennedy International Airport  (JFK)
  • Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
  • Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
  • Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW)
  • Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
  • Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)
  • McCarran International Airport (LAS)
  • George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
  • Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
  • Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

I’m so happy that all 3 New York airports are participating! It sure does make rides from JFK less painful for me ;).

Thanks for posting this, this is a GREAT deal, I have a trip into EWR next week and Uber will beat taking the Train. Is this for ANY Amex (i.e. Delta) or just the Platinum Am Ex?

I think it’s one offer per Amex account. However your parents, friends, families can all add the code to their account and then request an uber for you should you need it.

I used uber this morning and it never asked for a promo code. Is this a screen that will come up at Airports that is eligible?

You have to add the promo code to your “promotions” field in the uber app for it to activate. Also it’s only for rides originating from the airport

I’ll use this in LAS, but will only save $10 – $15.
I’ll use this at JFK to make my way home for what I expect will be a net cost of $35.00 to the northern suburbs.
