While I don’t really post many “mom” posts, traveling with my kids is a huge part of my reality. As a mom of 2 well-traveled kids under 3, I’ve discovered some great travel products geared-towards little ones over the years to keep traveling fun and stress-free for all of us.
With the holidays around the corner, I figured it would be nice to share some inspiration for those seeking travel-themed gifts for little explorers.
Melissa & Doug  On the Go Water Wow! Activity BooksÂ
I came across these awesome & mess-free activity books over a year ago and it was a long-time staple in our carry-on for flights. Simply fill the wand with a bit of water and you have a “coloring book” that can be used over and over again. A pack of 3 sells for under $10.
SoCozy “Splash” Swim 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Wash
Have you realized that very few hotels are stocked with tear-free bath products for children? I’ve learned to bring my own products for my kids when we travel, and I especially love the Swim 3 in 1 wash by SoCozy since my kids are beach bums and water bugs. It’s a gentle (chemical-free), yet effective, 3 in 1 shampoo + conditioner + body wash that cleanses and repairs damaged hair caused by pool chemicals, saltwater and the sun. The price is $12.95 for a 10.5 bottle & you can save 15% on your first order by joining the mailing list.
The Jet Setter line from Hi Little One
Traveling with little ones is a feat that should be recognized! Whether it’s their first flight, or one of many, Hi Little One makes cute tees, tote bags, and outfits for babies and toddlers. Plus, each T-shirt can be personalized with an “in-case of emergency phone number†on the back if you wish for added piece on mind during the hectic travel season. I have matching “Frequent Flier” tees for both of my kids that I can’t wait for them to wear once it gets warmer. Prices start at $19.
InRoad Toys™ PlayTape®
These are genius purse-sized rolls of “tracks” that enables you to turn any flat surface – even their seat-back tray tables – into roads and tracks for toy cars and trains. I recently used PlayTape by the pool on our recent trip to Fajardo, Puerto Rico, allowing me to relax by the pool while simultaneously keeping the kids happy. Priced at $12.99 for a 2-pack.Â
The First Years Disney Simply Spoutless Cups
The First Years Disney Simply Spoutless Cups lets little ones drink naturally from anywhere around the rim (just like an open cup!) and automatically closes tight when they stop sipping (spill-free!). So everything within 20-foot radius stays dry (including the carry-on diaper bag). Priced at $6.99.
