I’m a huge fan of subscription boxes, and I love travel-sized beauty samples (I’ve been a Birchbox subscriber for 3 years, I receive the quarterly Walmart Beauty Box, and I have pretty much gotten every curated “box” from Amazon with the free credit in the past).
Right now Amazon is offering 3 beauty boxes that are essentially “free” when you factor in the credit you’d get to use towards a future purchase. The Luxury Beauty Box is $19.99 & comes with a $19.99 credit towards future luxury beauty items. At first I was on the fence about buying this one because many of these products are products that I have received already in my Birchbox, and lets not forget about all of the hotel toiletries I’m drowning in from all my travels (I seriously haven’t purchased shampoo or body wash in years), but when I saw that the $19.99 credit could be used towards my favorite Stila eyeliner that I needed to buy anyway, I was sold.
The Beauty Sample Box for $11.99 (and comes with a $11.99 credit) was also a no-brainer for me because it came with essential travel items such as Venus razor (which is expensive to begin with), deodorant, face scrub, and tooth paste.
The Men’s Grooming Sample Box is also a killer value considering that it is stocked with an expensive razor, face-cleansing wipes (which I’ll use), and other travel essentials that men [should] travel with.
Bottom Line
The Amazon beauty sample boxes are a great way to stock up on travel-sized products (and would also make a great stocking stuffer for the holidays too!). I went ahead and ordered all 3.
Which boxes are you getting?

There is no “free”, this is a half off sale. Let’s say you buy the $10 Men’s box. You get a $10 credit for a future purchase of $10. Assume you spend exactly $10 on that purchase, then you’ve got $20 of stuff for $10 or 50% off , not “free”.
