Free 3-Month Membership to JetSmarter!

January 23, 2017 by Angelina Aucello 8 Comments

JetSmarter is an app that you can use to book shuttle flights and empty legs on private jets. At $15,000 a year for a full membership, it can be a pricey decision- but for those who have the freedom to constantly be on the go- it can offer an incredible value.

Back in November, I was able to snag a free JetSmarter flight between Teterboro (conveniently 7 minutes away from my house) and Washington, DC completely free! It was my first time on a “private” plane, and it ended up being a really fun trip!a woman standing on the stairs of a small airplaneWhile I’ve heavily considered a membership since the flight, I couldn’t bite the bullet because I couldn’t justify the yearly price considering that the private jet lifestyle probably doesn’t make sense to me as a family of 4.

However, it looks like JetSmarter is now extending a 3-month trial membership for free!

While I won’t promise you free unlimited and flights for 3 months (because of course that sounds “too good to be true”), I called JetSmarter and spoke with a membership rep who confirmed the following:

The 3-month trial membership activates into their “Simple” membership, which normally costs $500 a year.

A simple membership gives you access to purchase seats on an empty legs and seats on shuttle flights.

If you’re still interested in the 3-month trial at the “Simple” level, all you have to do is sign-up (or log in if you already have an account ) to activate your trial. You will receive an SMS verification and then you’ll be instructed to download the app.a screenshot of a registration formBut lets look at some great flight deals!

An empty leg seat between Baltimore and New York: $180 (can even be cheaper than Amtrak!)

Bottom Line

This JetSmarter trial membership is definitely something you should look into! Can be a cheaper alternative to last-minute travel (or traveling between big cities in general). What are your thoughts?

Maybe I missed this, but when is the trial over? I’d like to sign up closer to the summer to have those 3 months include either June or July.

None of the flights you pointed out are that cheap. The one from NY to LA is $5k.

That’s awesome! My wife and I talk all the time about wanting to find cheap private jet flights like this! Where’s the coolest place you flew using it?

Your article is misleading and inaccurate. Yes you have access with with trial, but it’s full freight meaning that screenshot of the seat for 450 from white plains to LA is 5k plus not $450. In order to be replected as a blogger you have to put accurate info. Otherwise is appears as a plug or ad.

Jared at the time I took the screen shots for this posting, those were the prices presented to me. I later figured out it was a glitch and I accidentally had shuttle tokens in my account from a previous jetsmarter promotion where they were offering free seats on their New York to Washington routes. I am updating the post now to remove those prices. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.

The simple membership is normally $5000 not $500 as you stated….”The 3-month trial membership activates into their “Simple” membership, which normally costs $500 a year.”
