Earn 3,000 JetBlue TrueBlue Points With Amazon Prime

Amazon and JetBlue already have a killer partnership. Not only can you stream free entertainment in the air using Fly-Fi’s high speed connection, late last year, the airline announced a generous shop-and-earn program for JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty members to earn 3X at Amazon.

This morning, there’s another exciting offer up for the taking from JetBlue and Amazon. From today to May 8, first-time Amazon Prime members can earn 3,000 TrueBlue points for signing up for Amazon Prime.

Amazon Prime offers members free Two-Day Shipping on over 50 million items, unlimited streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows with Prime Video, unlimited streaming of millions of songs and thousands of playlists, free Kindle e-books, unlimited photo storage, exclusive access to deals, Twitch, and much more for $99 a year or $10.99 a month.

Unlike most airlines, JetBlue does not have a fixed award chart. At a valuation of  a minimum 1.4 cents per point, 3,000 TrueBlue points is worth around $42, which turns out to be a pretty generous return for a new Amazon Prime subscription.

Additionally, it’s also worth mentioning that the JetBlue credit cards, which were unveiled last year, are pretty impressive:

  • The JetBlue Card has no annual fee and comes with a sign-up bonus of 10,000 points (~$140).
  • The JetBlue Plus Card (my personal favorite) comes with a $99 annual fee, but that is almost instantly offset with the 5,000-point annual bonus (~$70). The sign-up bonus is 30,000 points (~$420) You’ll also get a free checked bag, $100 off a JetBlue getaways package of $100 or more each year, and 10% back (!!) on redeemed awards.

What are your thoughts on this special JetBlue Amazon Prime offer?

Your wording confused me ” Amazon Prime members can earn 3,000 TrueBlue points for signing up for Amazon Prime.” If we are Prime members we cannot get the bonus.

How long does it take for the jetblue points to post after an amazon purchase? I haven’t received mine after 3 weeks. Thanks
