American Express Quietly Introduces the Super Lucrative AmEx Blue Business Plus Credit Card

Without any notice, American Express rolled out a super lucrative, no-annual fee, business credit card through their affiliate channels. Prior to this offer, I used to highly recommend the SimplyCash® Plus Business Credit Card (related post) as a very strong no-annual fee business card. Now, I am going to apply for the The Blue Businessâ„  Plus Credit Card and I’d swap out my SimplyCash in a heartbeat if it came down to having to do so.

There are so many compelling features about this new The Blue Businessâ„  Plus Credit Card, that it’s pretty much a no-brainer for me:

  • No annual fee
  • And the very generous ability to earn 2x Membership Rewards points on the first $50,000 spent on the card per calendar year. Yes that translates to 2x back on pretty much every purchase! Terms Apply.

You can also pool these points with Membership Rewards points earned from other cards, such as the The Platinum Card®, Premier Rewards Gold Card, and The Amex EveryDay® Credit Card.

Bottom Line

Without a question, this is a fantastic offer. Prior to the launch of this new card, I used to highly recommend the SimplyCash® Plus Business Credit Card (related post) as a very strong no-annual fee business card. Now, I am going to apply for the The Blue Businessâ„  Plus Credit Card, and I’d swap out my SimplyCash in a heartbeat if it came down to having to do so.

What’s even better is that since this is a business credit card, getting the card won’t count towards Chase’s 5/24 rule, which has always left me more cautious when it came to applying for new cards.

What are your thoughts? Did you get approved?a black and white text
