JetBlue Unveils Brand New EatUp Snack Boxes

This afternoon, I had a chance to drop by the JetBlue HQ to preview (and sample) the 4 new EatUp snack boxes that will soon be available to purchase on JetBlue flights! Though snacks are complimentary every time you fly on JetBlue, you can purchase a snack box if you’re feeling extra hungry (or if you want to have back-up snacks on hand for the little ones).

I must say I was impressed with the new offerings. While I am not much of a “snacker” in flight, it’s nice knowing that there are snacks of substance available if the craving hits. I like that each box is focused on delivering an array of carefully-curated healthy, yet not-boring options.

Here’s what’s coming:

Aside from the actual snacks offered, the good news is that I find the EatUp boxes to be very reasonably-priced (priced at either $5 or $7, depending on the box), and almost a steal if you have a co-branded JetBlue card. You can save 50% on any inflight purchase (food and drinks included) when you pay with any of the JetBlue credit cards, such as the JetBlue Plus Card (my favorite), which essentially brings the cost to $2.50 or $3.50 per box, respectively.

Even if you don’t eat all of the snacks in flight, you’re getting really high-quality snack items for pocket change (for instance, the blueberry protein bar in the BigUp box retails for $3.99 alone in stores), and you can eat them on the go wherever your travels take you!

What are your thought’s on JetBlue’s new and improved EatUp boxes? Do you buy snack boxes when you fly?
