I just stumbled across a really awesome promotion for female travelers visiting NYC! I’ll be the first to say that there’s nothing like feeling like a million bucks when you’re all dolled up, especially when on a special trip or traveling to an important event. Â I always thought a blowout or beauty service would be a fun “welcome amenity” when staying at a high-end hotel, and now it looks like those dreams are not too far from reality…
NOMI is allowing  you to receive a free in-room professional beauty service during your next NYC stay of 3 nights of more at participating hotels (including Andaz on 5th, Lexington Autograph Collection, and Intercontinental Barclay). A NOMI elite blowout and elite make-up application is valued at $95 and $105, respectively..
NOMI is service where celebrity hair stylists and makeup artists will come right to your hotel room to provide you with hair and makeup services, according to your schedule, seven days a week from 6:30AM to 9:00PM. You can book your appointment online or via the NOMI app.
I have not used NOMI before, but I have used a similar service a few times in Las Vegas where a stylist came to my room to do my hair and make-up before a big night out, and I can’t even describe how awesome it was to look and feel like you belong on a red carpet!
The details of the promotion state that you need to…
- Stay 3 nights or more at one of their participating hotels
- Book the hotel stay directly with the hotel (which you’re probably already doing if you read this blog… and yes, points, points & cash, and corporate codes should count).
- Use code “WomenGoingPlaces” when you book your beauty appointment
While I don’t have any NYC hotel plans in my future, I’m sure many readers do (especially those looking to use IHG free-night certificates and Hyatt points), and if you’re traveling with a lady, you can make the stay extra-special with this beauty treat.
Hopefully someone can take advantage of this cool NOMI promotion and report back. I’d love to see beauty perks like this available in hotels in other areas… and more often!
