Mattress-Run Worthy: Earn a Free Wyndham Rewards Night (15,000 Bonus Points) After 2 Stays

July 16, 2018 by Angelina Aucello 9 Comments

Wyndham Rewards just rolled out another great promotion where members can earn up to 15,000 bonus points when you pay for your stay with MasterPass.

Now through September 1, 2018, Wyndham Rewards members can earn 7,500 bonus points per stay by paying with Masterpass online or through the Wyndham Rewards app. After two stays, you can earn 15,000 bonus points—enough for up to one free night.

To take advantage of this promotion, you’ll have to book by August 31, 2018, and stay by September 1, 2018.

Simply select Masterpass as your payment option when you book your stay online or through the Wyndham Rewards app. You can earn 7,500 Wyndham Rewards bonus points per stay, for up to two stays and a maximum of 15,000 bonus points.

Bottom Line

I’ve participated in several of these Wyndham promotions before, and it’s a great way to stock up on points.

Wyndham Rewards and Caesar’s Entertainment Total Rewards announced a partnership in 2017. With Wyndham’s new and improved Wyndham Rewards program, where all free nights are just 15,000 points per night, Las Vegas redemptions are something to keep in mind.

I booked a Memorial Day Weekend stay in Las Vegas using Wyndham points. With rates in the $300-$450 range that weekend, redeeming 15,000 points per night was a fantastic value.

With Wyndham stays (aka Travelodge) costing as low as $27-35 in some US cities, I’d consider this promotion worth mattress-running for, especially for future Las Vegas stays. You could essentially “stay†twice for less than $75 total to generate the 15,000 bonus points to use at a later date.a black and white text

Hi Kate, you have to enroll your Mastercard into masterpass and then select that to pay for your stay

Looks like an easy way to pad my account. I can use my free night in NYC during my trade show.

I have a MasterCard my husband doesn’t. We have separate accounts with Wyndham. Can I use my master pass on his hand on mine? Will that count?

I once found a site where I could see all the hotels prices for a month. I am trying to find cheap Wyndham hotels and they change from day to day. Isn’t there a place to see a month at a time?

I use Google. if you’re on mobile and google the hotel name, when you drop down the calendar to select days it shows you prices for a month.

Angelina – what do you think are the most aspirational Wyndham properties? I haven’t been able to find a lot.

[…] Get A Free Night For $75?!:  Stay with me here… Currently Wyndham is offering a 7,500 point bonus per stay when you pay with Masterpass online.  If you recall with Wyndham, free nights are just 15,000 points for any property. After 2 paid stays with this promotion, you could earn a free night.  If you do a mattress run at a cheap property, you could “buy” a night at an expensive property at a fraction of the cost. […]
