This might be an incentive for me to take advantage of the Marriott Summer Bonus Promotion that’s starting up in June (1 free night after 2 stays: related post). As I was going through the mail this weekend, I noticed a brochure from Marriott advertising 7,500 Marriott Reward bonus points after completing two stays at a Fairfield Inn & Suites between May 1 and July 31, 2012, which overlaps with the Summer Bonus Promotion.
This is definitely a targeted offer, so I can’t say everyone will be eligible for this, but it doesn’t hurt to try and register at MarriottRewards.com/FairfieldBonus. Also be sure to check your current promotions when logged into your Marriott Rewards accounts because many people have received similar brand-specific offers (Courtyard by Marriott, Springhill Suites, etc.). I’m happy that I was targeted for Fairfield Inn because they are generally the least expensive of all the Marriott brands.
If this works out to be stackable with the current Marriott Summer Bonus Promotion, two stays at a Fairfield Inn would get me 1 free night in a Category 1-4 hotel as well as 7,500 bonus points (Category 1 free night or Category 2 free night with PointSavers).

These bonuses are typically stackable. I got the springhill suites bonus over the weekend but haven’t had time to read it over. I don’t have a busy travel schedule coming up and I need to burn the 2 cat 1-4 certificates I earned through the current promo, so I may not be able to take advantage of the SHS offer. But I’m sure I’ll figure out a way to do this. The new remodeled SHS’ are really nice for those who also got this offer.
Mine is 5K for 2 Fairfield stays. I’ll wait until June to stay to stack.
springhill suites for me and summer bonus was bonus related to weekend stays.
I got to read my SHS bonus offer. It’s 2 stays between 5/1 and 7/31 and get 5000 bonus points. Didn’t mention anything about weekends.
Mine was SHS; 2 stays before 7/31 for 5k bonus points. That fits perfectly with two one night trips planned for later this month.
I am eligible for two summer bonuses:
The first is for 20,000 points after 15 nights, another 10,000 points after 20 nights, and another 10,000 after 25 nights.
The second is for 10,000 points after two weekend stays, and an additional 10,000 points after a third weekend stay.
I have not received anything brand specific.
