With Accor’s new Discovery Tour Facebook game, you could earn 500 points for correctly pairing their hotels with their respective place on the interactive world map each week. Week 3’s map is now up and running (a big thanks to reader Mike for letting me know!). As always, the geography was tough, and I had to resort to Google maps to help me correctly match the hotels for the full 500 points; nevertheless, it is a quick and easy gateway to free points that can be later converted into airline miles or used towards money off your next stay.

Section 4 of the game rules say:
These points shall be credited to each winner’s Le Club Accorhotels account within a maximum period of three (3) weeks following the end of the Game Contest.

Reading about our options to go points-to-miles on FT:
There are supposed to be two methods to turn these into airline miles: automatically through stays or if you meet the minimum threshold for transfer into a particular program. I would have thought auto-enrolling with an airline would be easier (T&C are not too clear on this point). It turns out actual experiences on FT do not match my assumption.
