I’ll be honest – I haven’t flown JetBlue in about 7 years (ok, I lied, I did get in on the $10 fares to Vegas in 2010). It’s not like I have anything against the airline, it’s just that I prefer flying out of EWR rather than JFK, and that’s a valid reason in itself. I will, however, participate in an opportunity to match status, so that if I do find myself on a JetBlue flight sometime in the near future, I’ll be ahead of the game and have a better flying experience.
Here’s the deal:
JetBlue is extending a status challenge (the Mosaic Challenge) offer to TrueBlue members until April 18, 2014. You’ll have to earn 3,750 base flight TrueBlue points during your 90-day challenge period to qualify for Mosaic through December 31, 2015.
For those of us who already have status in another airline program (eligible airline loyalty programs and statuses are: Delta® SkyMiles Medallion® Gold, Platinum or Diamond ; United® MileagePlus® Premier® Gold, Platinum or Premier1K®; American Airlines® AAdvantage Platinum® or Executive Platinum®; US Airways® Dividend Miles Preferred Gold, Platinum or Chairman; Southwest® Rapid Rewards® A-List Preferred or Companion Pass; and Alaska Airlines® Mileage PlanTM MVP® Gold or MVP® Gold 75k), TrueBlue is offering a direct status match for the duration of 2014 (with the chance to extend Mosaic until 2015 by completing the challenge).
To enroll in the challenge or the match, you can do so by emailing mosaicchallenge@jetblue.com with your valid and current TrueBlue number in the body of the email by April 18, 2014. If you are currently enrolled in one of the eligible airline loyalty programs with the specified eligible status, your email also must include proof of your current enrollment and status.
What do you think? Do those who are JetBlue loyalists love the Mosaic program? I’m going to give the status match a go – how about you?

JetBlue’s website says that you receive 15k points immediately upon qualifying for Mosaic (https://trueblue.jetblue.com/web/trueblue/mosaic). Any idea if status match customers are eligible to receive those bonus points? If so, a status match could be worth about $180 in TrueBlue points (if you value them around 1.22 cents a piece).
