I have yet to fly with Frontier, but I am open-minded about trying their service, especially from Trenton.
Many people assume Frontier is a step above Spirit Airlines (can anyone vouch?), but sometimes their prices are just too tempting to say no.
Yes, you’ll most likely have to pay baggage fees, but if you pack lightly, you can avoid them the same way I avoided paying any additional fees during my first and last Spirit Airlines flight.
Today, Frontier announced a fare sale to celebrate their new market launch for their new service routes starting in the fall and winter. In order to take advantage of these low introductory rates, you must book your flights by August 9.
The sale price is valid from for travel starting at the launch date of the route through March 1, 2015.
Out of the 10 routes, the one that excites me the most is Trenton to West Palm Beach for $59 one-way. If the service dates work, I might just book myself a winter getaway.
Do any of these new routes work for you/excite you?

Being based in the Denver area, I have flown Frontier many, many times. Frontier gives you some options, like assigned seating, stretch seating, DIRECTV…granted, you have to pay for them, but on long flights I have no problem paying an extra $20-40 for stretch seating or a couple dollars for an aisle seat. And, you purchase when you book the ticket. No waiting to see if it clears and no status required. Also, their round trip award tickets are 20,000 miles.

They are decent. I used to fly they some. The biggest problem I used to have was that I was in STL so everything at that time hubbed through Denver. Not a problem when going to the West Coast but an issue on the way to Florida, etc.
I’m excited about the new routes if they are direct and don’t require a Denver stop. They have decent seats and good service. To me they are a cross between Southwest and US Air with single class of service.
If I was going to buy a mid size airline I would buy Frontier because I like them. They are like a weird Denver version of Alaska.
