Not sure if this is targeted, but I logged into Amex and saw an offer for $5 back on $25 from now until Sept 2.
My local BB&B sells giftcards to other retailers (no Amazon though), and they also sell Visa and MasterCard gift cards for a fee ($3.95 for $25 or $5.95 for $100). If you add this offer to all of your Amex cards, you can potentially score some “free money” by splitting the gift card purchase between your cards (that’s if the cashier is willing, of course).
You can also use this offer with the many 20% off coupons that are available for BB&B purchases if you actually need some home goods. BB&B gift cards are also useable at Buy-Buy Baby and Harmon’s (beauty supplies).
I haven’t been to a BB&B store in a while, but I might pop in and see what this offer is all about.

BBB is typically way to overpriced. It’s like Kohl’s without sales or Kohl’s cash but… pairing this with a coupon and for something you might buy anyway would bring stuff down to internet pricing I’d think.
