One of the best decisions I’ve made last year was switching from Verizon to T-Mobile. Aside from chopping my monthly bill substantially (I went from a family plan of 4 for $350 a month to a family plan of 4 for $120 a month), I can use data in over 100 countries while traveling abroad.
Well it looks like the “un-carrier” is here to do some more impressing.
Starting June 13, T-Mobile users can get 1 hour of free wifi on Gogo-equipped flights (in addition to the unlimited texting and messaging!
And another new perk is “T-Mobile Tuesdays” starting tomorrow, where T-Mobile customers can get free stuff every Tuesday just for being a customer when you download the free T-Mobile Tuesdays app (I don’t see the iOS app available yet). You can even claim one free share of the T-Mobile stock by June 21 (~$43 value).
Week 1 (6/7/16) – Free Domino’s, Free Wendy’s Frosty, Free VUDU Rental, and a Free ticket to Warcraft movie
The T-Mobile Tuesdays app also lets customers enter to win bigger prizes (including a trip to MLB All-Star Week, a $10,000 New York City shopping spree, etc. Also, if you share photos of your T-Mobile Tuesdays goodies on your social media accounts with the hashtag #GetThanked, you could win more prizes like a Domino’s pizza party or free Lyft rides for a month.
Overall this sounds like a really fun initiative from T-Mobile & I’m a huge fan of a company that adds more benefits to an already-rewarding service.
What are your thoughts about T-Mobile? Are they your preferred carrier too?
