The stories on Daily Mail never cease to amaze me, but today’s headline left me feeling like this:

According to a Daily Mail article published today, guests at a non-chain hotel (thank goodness because no amount of points can make this right), Hotel El Senador, in Mexico City were oblivious to the fact that there was an extra guest in the room with them:

Hotel guests were oblivious for days that there was a corpse wrapped up in plastic underneath their bed.

Police in Mexico City believe the woman’s body had been there for at least a week when it was discovered at Hotel El Senador.

The foul smell eventually led staff to look under the bed and make the gruesome discovery.

I don’t know about you, but I stopped checking under my bed somewhere between the age of 4-5. The sad part of this story is that the woman’s identity remains unidentified, and there seems to be a lot of missing pieces to the case.
